The Camping Village de la Guyonniere campsite at St Julien des Landes in the Vendée is a 5* premium parc about 12 Kms (7.5mi) from the nearest beach but having direct access to a lake, lying as it does on the banks of the Jaunay Lake and packed with activities in a picturesque region of French countryside.
This is a peaceful rural area though Village de la Guyonnière is packed with activities and facilities. The campsite and its friendly staff ensure your family has a wonderful time in the culturally rich region of Vendée, which is famous for its natural beauty, architecture, and history.
At the campsite, life is dominated by the stunning natural Lake Jaunay. In this 114 hectare area, families can enjoy long walks across lush countryside, or head off for a swim, boat ride, or to take to one of the many cycling routes. There are also plenty of recreational activities to enjoy, which includes sports activities, the resort’s swimming pools, a spa, and an animal sanctuary. Facilities at the resort include a restaurant, takeaway, grocery shop, and a bar, and there’s even free WiFi.
From the Camping Village de la Guyonniere you can drive straight down the D6 road to St Gilles de la Croix & St Hilaire de Riez to the beach or for shopping, or go north to the wonderful resort town of St Jean de Monts, or south will take you to les Sables d’Olonne.

Camping Village de la Guyonnière is a spacious 30 hectare (about 75 acres) rural site. It is Dutch owned but English is spoken and all visitors are made very welcome. The 300 or so pitches are arranged on ten different fields, each being reasonably level.
Evening entertainment is provided in high season. This is a perfect place for families, with large play areas on sand and grass, and a paddling pond with shower.
