Camping La Roche d’Ully is the ideal holiday destination for every type of camper. Located in the valley of the Loue River in the Jura Mountains, it borders the historic town of Ornans. This four-star campsite offers a combination of beautiful countryside, charm, relaxation and activities. The campsite places a lot of importance on being environmentally friendly and is working hard to achieve the European eco label.
La Roche d’Ully is acknowledged as a bird sanctuary by the French Bird Protection League. In the high season, the restaurant on the campsite is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Here, you can sample regional products and dishes from the Jura. The campsite is very accessible for the disabled. There is also plenty for children to do. Through the week there is a mini club, organised treasure hunts and also the option to jump about on the trampoline.
The Jura is an exceptionally great region for walking and mountain biking. The countryside in this area is also perfect for other activities such as canoeing, climbing and caving or climbing via ferrata. Not far from the campsite, you will find Besancon. This historical town is on the UNESCO World Heritage List and has an impressive selection of sights. For example, the citadel and fortifications of Vauban. All in all, plenty to do!
