Camping le Châtelet is a small, peaceful and relaxing 5* site with direct access to the beach at St Cast in northern Brittany. It has wonderful sea views and is a haven for walkers looking for some great scenery and some local history thrown in as le Chatelet is close to the ancient hilltop fort – Fort la Latte – an historic lighthouse and a fortified castle straight out of a story book.
Camping le Chatelet is set amongst rolling heathland and has what can only be described as a stunning setting. The site has a small pool which is a real suntrap so you can laze on a sunbed, have an occasional dip and have quite a tan at the end of the day. The pool is surrounded by hedges and fragrant flowers which make an ideal windbreak.
At the centre of the site is a small and very pretty lake which is excellent for watching the local wildlife or just for relaxing.
There is a spacious bar here which offers excellent views across the bay and is the venue for weekly entertainment in high season, including live music and quizzes.
